We're opening dozens of internship seats across the EX Venture portfolio — Seraph, Zero-X, Gemino AI, CCM, and Equation Labs. Six months, full-time, inside operating businesses with real customers and real consequences. This is not a course. It's an apprenticeship.

You ship, not study
Every deliverable lands in front of a paying customer or a production system. Feedback loops are measured in days, not semesters. You either get better fast, or you find out fast.
You're mentored by operators
Your mentors are the founders and CEOs of the portfolio — people currently running what you're working on. They review your code, your deck, your pricing. Because it's their product.
You exit with a network, not a grade
Twenty-six nations in the cohort. A portfolio of eight operating companies. Alumni running ventures across three continents. The network is the actual credential.

Each role below sits inside a live operating company. You're embedded with the team from week one. Indicate your preferred company in your application. Business Development and Grant Writing seats at EX Venture are our highest-priority needs right now.
AI Vision Engineer
Build and deploy computer vision models on live field data. CNNs, vision transformers, edge inference.
AI Recognition Engineer
Species, disease, and phenotype recognition pipelines. Annotation frameworks, dataset ops, model evaluation.
Biologist
Field and lab work supporting the ML and breeding programmes. Protocols, sample integrity, data provenance.
Geneticist
Genomic analysis, trait mapping, phenotype-genotype correlation. Comfortable in Python or R on sequencing data.
Farming & Agronomy Intern
Ground-truth the models. Crop trials, soil work, field operations. You translate biology into data we can train on.
Robotics Intern
Platform work across mobile robotics, perception stacks, and field hardware. Sensor fusion, ROS, embedded systems welcome.
CAD Designer
AutoCAD and 3D modelling for industrial systems. Drawings that get built — not renders that get pitched.
Electrical Engineer
Power systems, controls, grid-tie topologies, instrumentation. Comfortable moving between schematics and a real panel.
Mechanical Engineer
Thermodynamics, rotating equipment, fluid handling, pressure systems. Bonus if you've touched gasification or biomass.
Technical Sales
Translate engineering into customer value. Scoping, proposal writing, pricing, cross-border deal support. Engineering backgrounds strongly preferred.
Sales Intern
Front-line sales development for Zero-X's distributed energy and waste-to-power systems. Lead qualification, outbound sequences, discovery calls, pipeline hygiene. You learn to sell a capital-equipment product, not a SaaS demo.
Business Development — Energy
Own market-entry research for new geographies. Partner scouting, competitive mapping, deal-structure analysis. You travel with the senior team on live deals.
Business Development Intern
Our highest-priority seat. Partnership sourcing, inbound qualification, pipeline ops across the full EX portfolio. You'll touch deals in AI, finance, energy, and carbon within weeks. Confident writers and operators only.
Grant Writer Intern
Also top priority. EU, German, Indonesian, and international grant programmes. You research funding calls, map them to our portfolio, and draft submissions with direct founder review. Outstanding writing in English is non-negotiable; German is a significant plus.
Strategy & Research Intern
Market maps, competitive briefs, thesis papers. You support the CEO's research queue and produce the documents that drive portfolio decisions. Analytical writers and ex-consultants thrive here.
Operations & Programme Management
Make the machine run. Cadences, KPIs, cross-company programme tracking, supplier and partner ops. High leverage, generalist seat.
Impact & ESG Intern
Frame and measure the impact case across the portfolio. Reporting, methodology work, investor-grade impact narratives. Good for social-science, sustainability, or development backgrounds.
Chief of Staff Intern
Direct support to Julien Uhlig, CEO. Shadow the week, draft outbound, prep for meetings, own follow-through. The most exposure-dense seat in the Academy. Selective — apply only if you are ready to operate at senior-executive pace.
Marketing Intern
Campaign planning, channel strategy, performance ops across EX brands. You'll run growth experiments end-to-end — hypothesis to dashboard.
Media Production Intern
Video, audio, podcast. Shoot, edit, publish. You build the asset library and the cadence behind our founder-led content engine.
Editorial & Content Intern
Long-form articles, landing-page copy, brand storytelling. Strong voice and a willingness to work inside a defined brand system across eight different audiences.
Social Media Intern
LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube. You own the cadence, the hooks, the analytics, and the comment sections. Comfort with AI-assisted workflows expected.
Brand & Visual Design Intern
Typography, layout, brand systems, figma-to-HTML fluency. Our sites are hand-built and design-led — you'll work directly on them.
AI Content Operations Intern
The EX Command Centre — our internal Gemini-powered content platform — is where you'll operate. Workflow design, prompt engineering, output QA. You productise founder-voice content at scale.
Finance Intern
Treasury operations, cash management, FX, reconciliations, financial modelling. You'll support the controller function across multiple entities. Strong Excel and accounting fundamentals required.
Private Banking Intern
Client onboarding, wealth structuring, cross-border account architecture, relationship ops for high-net-worth mandates. KYC/AML literacy and serious discretion required.
Payments & Product Intern
Payment rail integrations, stablecoin flows, and agent-wallet product design. You'll work on the next generation of our MCP banking toolkit alongside engineering.
Compliance & Risk Intern
FCA application work, policy drafting, transaction monitoring, risk register ownership. A seat at the centre of our regulated build — law, risk, or compliance backgrounds strongly preferred.
Agent Banking Research Intern
Research and prototype work on Authorisation Envelopes, Agent Merchant Protocol, and agentic-payment eval harnesses. Lives at the seam between our EX FI and EX AI teams.
AI Vision Engineer
Industrial vision pipelines — defect detection, quality control, process monitoring. Edge-to-cloud inference.
Database Engineer
OLAP and OLTP workloads at scale. Pipeline design, data quality, governance. Postgres, ClickHouse, warehouse patterns.
AI Agents Engineer
Autonomous agent systems — tool use, planning, eval harnesses. MCP tool design a plus. You'll be close to EX FI's agent-payments work.
Neural Networks Researcher
Architectures, training optimisation, distillation, deployment economics. We care about models that run in production, not papers that don't.
Oilbath Dryer — Design & Implementation
Full-cycle engineering on the oilbath dryer platform. Thermal modelling, vessel design, instrumentation, commissioning. You'll own a build, not a slide.
Chemical Engineer
Process engineering across drying, separation, and sorbent regeneration. Mass and energy balances that actually close.
Physicist
Heat transfer, phase-change physics, transport phenomena. Comfortable building the models that later become controllers on our rigs.
Mechanical / Process Support
Flex seat for a sharp generalist engineer supporting the dryer build. Fabrication, welding supervision, commissioning, safety systems.
Founding Studio Interns
Multi-disciplinary seats across AI, product, engineering, and operations. You're in the room as we stand the office up — the most formative way to join.
AI & Research Roles
Applied ML, agent architectures, and research that crosses between the EX AI and EX FI product lines. Strong fundamentals required.
Engineering & Product
Software engineering, systems design, and product operations. Fullstack comfort plus a taste for shipping is what we want.
Business & Operations
Partnerships, go-to-market support, and the unglamorous-but-decisive work of standing up a real office in a new jurisdiction.
